Set in Deke, 500 metres from Watu Bella Beach, Alamayah Boutique Retreat Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The hotel is beautifully designed and in a beautiful area very close to some picturesque beaches. The staff are very friendly and attentive and make it easy to organise trips and activities so you can experience Sumba. Surf lessons are a lot of fun and the village tour and waterfall tour are both great. Cocktails were really good, as was the food at breakfast. The hotel seems to have a good relationship with the local people and seems to have genuinely benefitted Sumba.

It is a bit far away from the main track but once you get there you would like to stay for a week. It wonderfull silent and connecting perfektly with the surrounding Nature. The food is simply fantastic. Not cheap but worth every RP.

Lelewatu Resort Sumba features free WiFi and rooms with air conditioning in Watukarere. Beautiful pool area overlooking the ocean, the staff were friendly and helpful. the food was nice for breakfast lunch and dinner. I will comeback again.

Anna, the manger made incredible food, sang and was so charismatic. I really couldn’t recommend this place any more. The rooms are fantastic, super cozy bed and incredibly peaceful.
