The hotel is beautifully designed and in a beautiful area very close to some picturesque beaches. The staff are very friendly and attentive and make it easy to organise trips and activities so you can experience Sumba. Surf lessons are a lot of fun and the village tour and waterfall tour are both great. Cocktails were really good, as was the food at breakfast. The hotel seems to have a good relationship with the local people and seems to have genuinely benefitted Sumba.

Ecoresort Sumba Dream offers a beachfront accommodation in Tanaraing, Sumba. Among the various facilities are a garden and a terrace. There is a restaurant. It is a bit far away from the main track but once you get there you would like to stay for a week. It wonderfull silent and connecting perfektly with the surrounding Nature. The food is simply fantastic. Not cheap but worth every RP.

The staff are lovely, ready to do anything to help you. They helped us with everything, also to rent a scooter worked well. The cabins are perfectly equipped and the view is breathtaking. The application is a real plus and being able to have quick answers via instant chat is a game changer. In short words, excellent value for money to stay in Sumba. We could see the sea from our bed. Fantastic !!!!

The staff are amazing. The owner brought the community together for dinner, gave detailed recommendations, joined me for beach walks and so much more. Anna, the manger made incredible food, sang and was so charismatic. I really couldn’t recommend this place any more. The rooms are fantastic, super cozy bed and incredibly peaceful.
