The location is in Anachal which is 25 minutes from Munnar, which is a good thing. Munnar can get really over crowded. The hotel was a nice small property with just 18 rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The GM (Balaji) is also very exceptionally nice and accommodating. We had a great time! Note: Keep your expectations low in terms of roads to the hotel. This is the case for most properties in that area.

The staff is extremely friendly and the food served was delicious. The food is cooked fresh based on the guests request. We stayed here for 2nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone especially families travelling with kids.

Reception and restaurant kept in contact with us while we were traveling. Restaurant manager Ratheesh is excellent leader cos his team was very efficient. We arrived at 11pm but they kept in touch with us during our journey (long drive) to check on our meal requirements. Reception was tops in welcoming us at that part of the night and in a terrible storm. We were very traumatized by the long drive and monsoon like weather but the warmth with which we were welcomed was awesome to overcome the trauma

Property was good with lot of activities, the view from the balcony was beautiful, the behaviour of staff was soo good front office house keeping and the restaurant staff all are professionals and well mannered my family was soo happy.

This place is like a piece of heaven, one of the best places I’ve been in India ! The owner is so welcoming, funny, trustworthy and suuuch a good cook ! The way he’s taking care of people and of his place shows how big and beautiful his heart is. I totally recommend this place and I’ll go back there for sure. Thanks a lot Ashane !

Offering Ayurvedic Treatments under Doctor consultation, yoga, meditation and nature-based wellness , Sitaram Mountain Retreat is set in midst of a spice plantation with valley view in Munnar. By far one of the most beautiful stays we had in India. Sitaram hotel was not only clean, tidy, well organised and tranquil, the staff which was excellent and professional was literally the highlight of the stay. Excellent yoga classes and walks in the morning as well.
