Zama Resort Koh Phangan is located along Haad Chao Phao Beach in Koh Phangan, a 10-minute walk to Secret Beach. The bungalows are just excellent. We booked a semi-sea view, but it was a full sea view from the balcony. The facilities are just great and very clean, and the host is very helpful and proactive in organizing all the transports, etc. In my opinion, this is the best area to stay in Kho Phangan, with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Wonderful beach (even if in July we could not swim here in the morning. Because of the powerful tide, the water retracted even 100 meters). Very good food and wonderful plating. Amazing staff (thank you guys for always making us feel welcomed) and great owners, always helpful. We had a really great time being your guests. Thank you for everything!

The owners have an eye for creating a lovely atmosphere and are providing extra service for laundry, trips, or rental of motorbikes. I am also a kitesurfer and the resort is directly located at the kite spot of the island, where the winds from January until March hit the beach. My kite school of choice was Kiteflip, which is just a stone's throw away. Positive side-effect of the wind: during these months, you have a chilling breeze, when laying in one of the beach chairs or sandbags enjoying a smoothie or drink We didn't recognize this breeze at other beaches.
