“Merkine is a very nice little town and worth visiting. The apartment, behind the owners' house, is in a very good, central location, close to supermarket and bus stop. Nice walking trails in the area. The landlady was very friendly and I am sorry we were not able to talk to her due to lack of common language.”
“The hostess could not have been more helpful. She sourced mushrooms, showed up the best way to prepare them and made us the appropriate side dishes. We drove off with a small box of produce from her garden and have made pesto and enjoyed ginger mint tea since getting home. Very welcoming including to our dogs.”
