Back stairwell to parking lot had no lights. Someone jumping up & down above us till after midnight. No security personnel at hotel, dust not cleaned by a/c, bedskirt stained. Not as clean and quiet as in the past. No waffles for breakfast, either.

We stay there every time we go through Natchitoches. We like location in relation to Cane River

Mattress was sagging in the middle. We got a room with two queens and one mattress was good the other wasn't. Shower water pressure was lacking. Breakfast was ok, but only scrambled eggs, toast and sausage were left by 9.

Location was great being only a block off of Front Street. Lady at the checkout was very friendly. Hotel was very clean. I will be staying with them again. Great price.

I didn't get the room I reserved, probably due to an insurance convention happening...and the remote for the tv didn't work.

This isn't a "historic hotel." But architecture is such it does blend in with it's surroundings. There was no top sheet on the bed. Had to ask reception to provide. No idea why housekeeping didn't report this issue before I was assigned the room.

Location. Only a short walk to the river, shops, and restaurants. Very friendly staff.

The floor in our room was coming up because it was cheap stick down flooring that got wet underneath. The other negative was when you walked it sounded so loud and i figured people could hear down below and above if you roomed above someone else.

The breakfast was very nice and large selection. The bar downstairs was opened when they said and very relaxing. That shower was awesome.

I didn’t like that I could hear the room next to us and was woken up to coughing.

There were many little things that could be done to spruce up the place The luggage carts need the wheels to be checked..many are flat Our door would not fully open or close and the staff is aware Missing items in the shower Towels and sheets worn Floors needs better sweeping Hanging wall paper from a ceil Weatherstripping on the doors so you can't hear the people next door

Room was dirty. There were blueberries on the floor when we got into our room. I didn't like that we have to pay extra for a breakfast we didn't eat. Limited options that we don't eat.

Minor aspects but we did get a little frustrated that ice makers on multiple floors were often empty. Our room, while certainly clean, appeared a bit overdue for recaulking of shower base.

Room was clean, quiet, overlooked the courtyard. Location is excellent- one block to Front Street and riverbank with multiple restaurants, shops, bars - lots of options. It was super convenient for St. Pat day pub crawl and I just recommended it to a friend attending jazz fest in May. We stayed three nights and breakfast buffet was 7-10am daily- scrambled eggs, grits, pork and turkey sausages, bagels, sliced bread/toaster, juices, coffee, yogurt.

Unfortunately the heating unit in the room was extremely noisy, everytime it kicked in it was like a freight train and woke us up all night. Breakfast was pretty ordinary.

Hotel was much nicer than expected, the rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The staff were friendly. Location was excellent, just a couple of minutes walk to the river and old town centre, restaurants etc. Plenty of parking and very close to NSU.

Towels were a little dingy looking and there was a small, but noticeable, red stain on the white bed comforter.

We had an ADA accessible room and the door latches did not work properly. We tried to book the room for another upcoming stay and we were not able to book that far in advance. Why?
