The B&B is ideally located within walking distance of the key sites, yet removed enough from the centre to provide a quiet spot to relax after a day of site seeing. The room was very comfortable, clean & beautifully decorated. However, what makes Chestnuts exceptional is the delightful host, Toni, & thoughtful touches such as the homemade sweet treats left in the room each day. It was lovely to have a small piece of cake with a cup of tea. It was also nice that there was fresh milk in the fridge. The breakfasts were extraordinary & among the best I have ever had at a hotel or B&B. I was surprised by the choice on the menu, allowing for something different each morning (e.g. delicious full English, eggs Royal with smoked salmon, eggs Florentine). Toni was easy to communicate with, prompt in responding to queries in advance of arrival & a wonderful host. It was a fantastic experience & we very much look forward to a future opportunity to stay at Chestnuts B&B again.

Delightful room, at the top of this characterful house on the hill above Bath. Very clean and comfortable. I slept very well despite a major storm outside. The staff were very helpful, particularly Emily and the breakfast team, making sure I had all I needed as a vegan, including a scrumptious breakfast. Having parking on site was very useful and I enjoyed the walk into town and even the walk back up the hill via the little hidden pathways.

Brindley’s in Bath is a fantastic property. From the moment we checked in, the exceptional service provided by David to introduce us to the property & the beautiful city of Bath & lugging our suitcases up to room 5, to the service provided by Adrian for two days (he actually fixed my curling iron!!) serving breakfast & taking care of our every need, to meeting welcoming, friendly Tina serving us breakfast on our last day. I can’t recommend this property enough if you want a special stay in Bath. The breakfast was phenomenal & got us off to a great start for our days there. Brindley’s is a nice, easy, short 10 minute walk to the centre of everything in Bath. The room was very comfortable, the hospitality tray so very thoughtful. Cleaning staff terrific. You will not be sorry if you book this property & if ever back in the area, would not hesitate to stay there again.

Chris’ (owner) accommodation is really nice, as well as his assistance with anything you need: from touristic tips until parking support. The location, although not central, is easy to reach: 5 stops to the city center with any bus and just 8-9£ with a taxi on the way back (20-25 min walking if you prefer, but have in mind you would be walking up a hill in the way back) The house, cottage looking, is eye catching. The rooms are big and comfortable (we rented 2 doubles). The bath is really spacious and the quality of both bedclothes and towels was high. We did not take any breakfast, but it looked amazing: coffee, fruits, cereal; more than enough. I rarely give a 10 to an accommodation but this one has definitely earned it. No surprise, as Chris is an 20 year experienced hotel man. Happy to come back next time.
