Hotel Mar del Plata is well situated a few steps from the bay in A Coruna and within walking distance of the main tourist attractions and many restaurants. Car parking is directly opposite the hotel and staff assisted us going in and out. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with good Wifi, excellent bathroom and wonderful shower. Reception staff speak good English and a very helpful and friendly. It was outstandingly good value for money. A Coruna was a surprise so a two night stay would have been better.

Location was fantastic. Rooms were very clean. The staff was wonderful and so accommodating to our family! The scenery was amazing and the breakfast and bar was top notch! We loved every minute!

Hotel Mar de Fisterra is set in Fisterra, at the end of Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route and less than 50 metres from Langosteira beach. We liked everything about this property. We arrived early to a very welcoming Sara at the front desk. She spoke English well enough to not only understand us but made an effort to communicate answers to questions we had. She let us check in early and leave our bags in a side room so we could explore the area. Sara gave us directions to lunch suggestions, sights, groceries, laundry and beach while also cleaning and getting ready for new guests. Upon our return to check in to our room we were excited to open the door and see the unbelievable view of the beach, mountains, ocean, etc. The room was clean, comfortable and full of amenities. We had a wonderful walk on the beach and saw the many sights including the evening walk out to the lighthouse (Sara gave us suggestions, taxi # if we wanted to use it) Breakfast the next morning was included. Perfect selection of everything you would want to start the day with Sara’s friendly personality serving things up. Highly recommend this place because of the staff, location, comfort, cleanliness, amenities, and the VIEW! Breathtaking!!! We have stayed in many, many places on our Camino from Porto to Santiago. Hotel Mar de Fisterra is definitely #1. Thank you! We will tell others and hopefully return ourselves. 👍❤️👣
