A great cosy little hideaway about 10/15 minutes drive from Tunnel View which is about as good as it gets in Yosemite. Lots of nice little touches including breakfast, a bottle of wine, snacks etc. The gas fire is great. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful...at least offering help although I didn't need any as everything was perfect. If I came to Yosemite again I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe has free bikes, fitness centre, a garden and shared lounge in Truckee. The price is relatively good comparing to the Northstar Village. It was a short drive to Northstar and ski and travel around the lake and back to the hotel easy.

Providing free WiFi, Mossbrae Hotel is located in Dunsmuir. The hotel features family rooms. The rooms in the hotel are fitted with a coffee machine. Perfect hotel, renovated only recently. Amazingly well equipped and tastefully decorated room with its own kitchenette, fantastic bathroom with all sorts of toiletries, infinite selection of TV channels and streaming services, etc. Wonderful bed and bedding, super quiet... We had the small 'queen bed' room. In a nutshell - as a 4 star hotel should be. And very reasonable price for a establishment of this category.

Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. The cabin was everything you could ask for. Spacious and comfortable. Everything about it was spot on.
