Perfect location. We were not sure how to access the keys at first as we had to enter the black door on the south side first. As there is an apartment in the other half of the house we though we would be entering somebodys apartment by opening the doors. But then the key was easy to find and the apartment was perfect for an overnight stay.

Set just 1 km from Hornafjördur Airport, this guest house offers guest rooms with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The Route 1 Ring Road is right next to the guest house. Accommodation was in a long block of rooms using both sides of the building, and each room had electronic door locks, so we were sent the room pin before we got there, and there no need to check-in. The accommodation is new and the room has underfloor heating and a very modern backroom and shower. What we liked is that there is a kitchen area that the guest can use and full use of plates and cutlery inc the microwave and plenty ot tables and chairs. So, there is no need to eat in your room The room was very modern, and the beds were comfy, and the room could get warm, so use the thermostat on the wall to change the temperature. Great place to stay if you want to visit the Glacier ad it's about 1hr feom diamond beach etc. Overall, it was a very good place to stay

Just 1 km off Iceland’s Ring Road, this privately-run guest house is 4 km from Höfn town centre. It offers free WiFi, scenic views of the surrounding nature and a furnished terrace in the garden. Comfortable, clean and beautiful. The host was very helpful and friendly

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. clean and spacious Free parking Nice breakfast. Staff very friendly. We arrive after midnight and they were there waiting for us for the check in.
