Our Host provided everything we could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The codes for the Key Lock Box and all other instructions we needed for our stay were provided the day prior and were super clear and thorough. Heating was on when we arrived and the apartment remained at a comfortable even temperature without any adjustments needed. Helen (our Host) was easy to contact when we had questions and was friendly and attentive. It was great to have so much space in an apartment at such a reasonable cost, so close to all the tourist attractions. The kitchen was well equipped, it was homely having a dining table in it's own room for meals, and the lounge room more than accommodated 3 adults with a couch and chair. Having Netflix provided was a bonus and appreciated when it was freezing at night and too cold to go out. An old apartment block with lots of history and charm, it has been tastefully renovated in the bathroom and kitchen whilst still leaving some rustic charm. The stairs to the 3rd floor were a bit challenging with the luggage but it certainly wasn't a major negative. Location was perfect for an international visitor wanting to explore Ottawa on foot. It was central for visiting many tourist areas in all directions. Also close to supermarkets for supplies and restaurants and eateries were in abundance, particularly only a block away on Elgin Street. Would definitely stay here again if in town and recommend to anyone looking to visit Ottawa.

Vittorio is the best host. He puts extreme detail on making feel guests at home and preparing a delicious breakfast considering food allergies or other issues. The house is charming, cozy and beautiful. It has a walking distance to most touristic places in Ottawa and easy to access via public transport.

Beautiful well maintained property right along the picturesque Ottawa River. Very clean and lovely ambiance to the place. The variety offered for breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a B & B. Lots of snacks to take with you during the day or if wanting something in the evening. We found the short drive to downtown Ottawa (10 mins) easy and scenic. The owners go out of their way to ensure you’re happy! They even brought the cape cod chairs across the road for us to indulge in happy hour! There is a lovely fire pit in the backyard which we didn’t use as it was like Summer conditions in early October! This was our first trip to Ottawa. The owners were very knowledgeable and informative in recommending places to visit. What really made our stay special was the owners who truly go the extra mile and make you feel so welcome! 10/10

The house was both stylish, modern, new and extremely comfortable, providing a perfect retreat. The location was perfect, just outside the hustle and bustle of the city centre yet just a short drive to downtown Ottawa offering a blend of tranquility and accessibility to nearby points of interest like great restaurants, supermarkets and anything and everything you need. From the seamless check-in process to the thoughtful amenities, it was evident that the host went above and beyond to make the stay exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend Tranquil Nest By The Airport to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable travel experience in Ottawa. This really felt like home: everything one needs for an enjoyable stay was there. The bed was very confortable, the bathroom was spotless, the kitchen had everything you needed to cook basically anything. The neighborhood was quiet, and only a few minutes walk from a variety of shops, cafés, and public transportation.
