Situated in Nongkhiaw, Meexok guesthouse provides accommodation with seating area. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The best stay I've had in Laos so far! Mine was a private room with in-suite bathroom without a riverfront view. Rooms, bathrooms and linen were very clean. There's hot water in the shower. Water pressure in my room was great. Sound proofing is decent. There's a shared outdoor seating area with a couple of hammocks where I'd lounge about all day. The wifi is strong and stable. They have tea, coffee and bananas at the front desk. Ask for bottled water if you need some. The ever-smiling Mr. Sinsai is an amazing host. He speaks fluent English and is always available, should you need anything. He got me some terrific deals on tours. Also helped book bus tickets to Luang Prabang. The highlight of my stay was the New Year's Eve barbecue which he helped me setup! 10/10 would recommend. I'm gonna stay here again the next time I'm in town.

Arthith Guesthouse has city views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Nongkhiaw. Guests can enjoy quiet street views. That guesthouse was truly amazing, we didn’t regret paying a bit more than the other places in town. Quite a view !! And the room is truly comfortable. The lady running the place is lovely and the crochet flowers she’s doing are very cute.

The accommodations are stunning, just like in the photos. Walking up to the property was like being in a fairytale. Calm and quiet, at the edge of town - a quick walk or bicycle ride to get to the center. The staff are wonderful and help with anything you need. Ou River House is wonderful for relaxing and swimming after a good hike, and the restaurant on-site serves great food. They also have free bikes and a kayak to use while staying on site.

Nong Khiaw is a great place to be, and I wish I had spent more time here. This lodge had a great view of the sunset and a nice picnic table right by the river. Great place to chill. Also very close to town
