I came for a weekend for a wedding an the temperature was great, the property is beautiful. The owner was courteous and a pleasure to chat with throughout our stay.

Clean, recently refreshed bathroom. They have several gathering places outside including a nice outdoor fireplace with lots of seating - hot logs on a cool night. Breakfast was certainly first class - Rich is a great chef. Kim is an informed host with the skinny on activities, restaurants, and what all. The lodge is on a quiet road close to everything - an easy walk to the beach and park area of Lake Lure. Top your day off with a home-baked cookie made fresh everyday.
