- The location is amazing! The hotel is located directly on the Irr lake and has a nice access to it - It has a small private beach with free chairs. It is very quiet and beautiful - You can rent a rowing boat for free - The rooms are big, clean and generally well mentained - The balcony of the room was really nice and big - The SPA area is seemed very good (we didn't use it)

Food in restaurant very good - Austrian with fresh local ingredients such as Zander fish and Mai-Bok venison.Good base from which to explore the Salzkammergut area. Lots of walking / hiking / bike trails. Quiet - not in a town. We had a large recently refurbished room with a large balcony - very comfortable. Easy drive from Salzburg airport.

We liked the spa, as well as the breakfast. The restaurant is really welcome on the evening, especially if you are unlucky and the weather is not as encouraging to go again out as expected. It is even open longer to get a last drink to celebrate the day before bed.
