Town square was the highlight, but all of the Altstadt is attractive and interesting. Go to Schroderer Brau restaurant good atmosphere and food. Three days is ample time, can easily be enjoyed in two.PaulUnited Kingdom

I especially liked wooden furniture and other wooden room elements. They even had a pillow bar at the corridor. The room had a fridge. The hotel had good facilities, there is a bar/restaurant in a hotel or you can buy beer and other drinks from the vending machine. On the same floor as our room there is a shelf with books in different languages too. The room had enough power sockets and enough shelfs and hanging knobs.JonasLithuania

The rooftop bar was excellent as well, with wonderful cocktails offered along with a 360 view of the city. I also enjoyed my spa time, also located on the rooftop. The location is close to everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Service was top notch and the prison vibe was just right....interesting but not too cheesy. This was my second visit and will be my accommodation of choice next time I am in Amberg.
