Breakfast was very good. The room was clean and tidy, although a little dated. Beds were comfy. Very accommodating in getting some washing done, as we were travelling around a lot. Enjoyed the location. Very close to train station and Baccarach is very pretty.

Breakfast was outstanding! Staff was very accommodating. I left an article in the room and they went to great lengths to get it returned to me. Really appreciate their diligence.

The location is a 5-minute walk to the city center. It is away from the train tracks, so the place is quiet. A decent breakfast is available during the stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a table and a desk for computer work.

A great apartment in the centre of Bacharach. It's on the second floor with no lift so take note. It is charming with excellent facilities and the host is super responsive and helpful.
Bacharach is one of my favorite locations. I stayed here the first time I ever visited Germany, and I keep coming back. If you come here, try the local wine, and please respect the residents of the town and the beautiful environment.

Very nice town, which was quite suprising for us.
Very nice town, which was quite suprising for us. Alongside the rhein river. Many classical half-timbered houses. Nice surroundings.
Very quiet. Not many (any?) open restaurants on a monday evening (passing through, just for one night).

We found Bacharach via online reviews and recommendations. It was all it was described to be. Beautiful, authentic, less touristed and the locals were extremely friendly. Would recommend a train trip to Bacharach to experience the beautiful views on the Rhine.

It was very quiet, although we expected that it should be high season and therefore busier. It is a beautiful old town and well worth visiting. We were disappointed that KD had cancelled boat trips up and down the river on the day we were there, so there was less to do than we had planned.

For us, Bacharach was a visit to a totally charming village...
For us, Bacharach was a visit to a totally charming village of numerous old homes ( some dating back pre-16th century, yet well-restored and maintained) and cobbled streets.
During our stay, we walked:
- up to the castle above the town - strenuous for us-we are both in our 70s!
- about 3km towards Kalb (sited on the opposite side of the Rhine;
- about 6km up into the hills above Bacharach.
Each of these walks were highlights of our five-day stay.
In summary, we had the benefit of a very comfortable apartment, excellent, thoughtful hosts; combined with a visit to a beautiful town.
Definitely a great starting point to explore Bacharach and other gems along the Rhine (like the boat ride from Bingen to St Goar). The walk into Bacharach was about a mile past beautiful vineyards and a view of the castle on the hill. The room itself was clean and cozy. The owner was friendly and made a beautiful German breakfast platter for us in the morning. We could hear a couple of other guests who got up earlier than us, but otherwise, it was a very peaceful, restful stay. I only wish we had had more time there! : )
The hosts, Ingrid and Helmut, were the most wonderful hosts we ever experienced. They made us feel like family. Their property and garden were beautiful and relaxing. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk into old walled town of Bacharach. the room was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and generous. Ingrid spoke fluent English. our hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful visit to Bacharach, giving us local information on things to do and see during our stay
It was very close to the town, which was very convenient as we could walk around without using our car. The apartment was very large, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen was very large as well and had everything we needed. Besides the property itself, Bacharach is a small town with many historical buildings. It has a nice walking trail where you can enjoy beautiful views. If you are going to be driving, the entire area is quiet beautiful due to all the small towns along the Rhine.
The kitchen was so well supplied with cutlery, pots and pans; cooking utensils. A micro-wave would be a good addition.
The bathroom was excellent - I add that the shower was so much larger than what is normal in many hotels and apartments.
There was plenty of storage space, including a sizeable wardrobe, in the main bedroom (there is a second bedroom in the apartment) - which allowed us to hang our clothes and store our other clothes, instead of having to live out of our suitcases.
Above everything else we liked, the couple that own / run the hotel are absolutely wonderful people, so friendly, helpful and kind. Room was large with a spacious balcony, bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, Location is excellent just 5 minutes from the centre. Definitely will return here, Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Check-in was smooth and fast. They were very nice to also offer a parking ticket if their parking is full. The room size was not so big but it was enough with all the necessary stuff. They even have a detailed guide of Bacharach and the boat timings. The attention to detail is spot on. Breakfast was also fantastic.
I requested to stay an extra night at the hotel due to difficulty finding another room because of a German holiday. the staff got us an extra night in what was obviously an upgraded room! wonderful view and great location. breakfast was included in price and was excellent
Stephen and Sybille were very friendly and hospitable. The room was comfortable and clean, with a nice view off our patio. They served a lovely breakfast. The hotel is just a short walk to the old town with restaurants, intesting sites, and the dock for river cruises.
The location was perfect - right in the middle of Bacharach and an easy to walk to from the train station. Communication from the host was great, and it was very easy to collect our key. I was also thankful they provided a small coffee machine and coffee.
Lovely host, room was clean and as expected, price wise it's too expensive for what it has to offer but other hotels in the area are even more so, offering less, so we were pleased with this one. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
Family Kachel were so friendly. we felt like at home. Bacharach is a nice kool place with nice view and lots of interesting places nearby to visit. Our stay was pleasant and we miss Bacharach 👍🫶🏽🫶🏽😍
Staff very nice. Waited for me when I was delayed. Beautiful town and this hotel is in the midst of it. Very good towels and linen. WiFi worked well. Elevator. They even have a pool Altho I didn’t see it.
Great breakfast buffet – well above my excpectations (this would be a great breakfast even at a large hotel, but the hotel is small)
Very good location in the centre of Bacharach
Nice, thick pillow
Spacious room in the middle of everything you would like to do in Bacharach. Great dinner choices and a very helpful staff. Towel warmers, decks on the "main" street, fantastic atmosphere.
Self check in is handy if you arrive at non business hours, but I received too many messages from the hotel for that.
Location is ok, there is a parking in front of it.
