it was very clean and alot of thought goes into preparing each room for your needs. the staff is very friendly and welcoming and helpful. we took our dog and there are many great places to walk him. the breakfast was good.

Wonderful staff and owner, nice breakfast, and clean and comfortable rooms. Our rooms were quiet. Great location in Villingen for train and buses, and 2 min walk to enter the Altstadt. Cap Markt for groceries and Müller for toiletries, personal needs, plus other shops and restaurants all close-by.

VS-Villingen is a Medieval walled city within easy driving (or train) distance of many of the attractions in the Black Forest area of Germany. It is one hour and 15 minutes from either Zurich or Stuttgart International airports. It has an incredible Fastnacht celebration in February. Like Mardi Gras in the USA, it is celebrated during the last days before the start of Lent (Ash Wednesday). The parades are amazing with ancient wooden face masks and elaborate costumes representing the various regions.

We had a large room with a balcony and a spacious bathroom. The room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, including a small refrigerator with free drinks. The staff were very kind to let us in the already cleaned room two hours before the official check-in time. Everything was really excellent and for a very reasonable price. P.S. The rabbits in the lobby are really cute.

The apartment was pleasantly pre-warmed, which was most welcome in December in Germany. The queen bed was very comfortable and the bedding provided perfect warmth. It is conveniently located near a grocery store and a bank with an international ATM, and is within easy walking distance to the City Center.
