As the Guamote is small, it's easy to walk from the hotel to everything.
The room was good, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower worked well, and we were very content with what we got. There was good WiFi throughout the hotel.
The downstairs area had plenty of places to sit and relax, and the staff were very accommodating. There is another quite expensive hotel in the town but I think we picked the best one.

Enchanted place. The community is so lovely, really happy to have guests. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic and great value. I would recommend everyone to stay a bit longer. We did not have enough time (and cash with us) to take part in the activities they offer: horseriding or walking trips to the surrounding mountains.

really nice hotel in Palmira. Good place where to stay 1 night during our long trip by car from Baňos to Cuenca. We can reccomend this hotel, it was as - to be at home. there was beautiful furniture, Fire in the fireplace, tasty breakfast. You can visit "Desierto de Palmira" few minutes by car.
