This was my second time in Zlatni bor. Like before, everything was excellent. Room perfectly designed and spacious and impeccably clean. Ambient and stuff make you feel like you are at home. Breakfast is varied and rich, with a lot of domestic products. I reccomend everyone to eat there for lunch or dinner. Portions are bigger and price is lower than anywhere in city center. Also, restaurant is known in whole Montenegro by quality national cuisine. Any time I come, I will be their guest.

Black lake, Bobotov kuk, savin kuk, zminje lake.. so many pure nature for see. The cozy town is surrounded by stunning nature. Not a lot of people, but two supermarkets are located with walking accessibility. Winter views like alpine. And of course, amazing coniferous forests. Be careful - it is easy to fall in love with this place.

The town is just a starting point for all sort of adventures, there's nothing to say about it - just hotels and restaurants, but the Black Lake is within a walking distance, and lots of other beautiful places are around.

Žabljak is the perfect place for hiking lovers.
Žabljak is the perfect place for hiking lovers. There are plenty of options around for all kinds of levels. Be advised that crossing the national park from Sedlo to Žabljak over Bobotov Kuk is harder than what it seems on paper! That was my first hike there and I completed it but was really tired afterwards and did finish in the dark. The face of Bobotov Kuk that is in the direction of Žabljak is made of loosse rock and is quite steep. Bear that in mind. Card acceptance is half and half, so bring enough cash just in case. 3 hiking routes recommendations: 1) Bobotov Kuk (choose based on your level and experience, and START EARLY!) 2) Chill stroll around the lakes (Black, Green and Brown) to let the legs rest 3) Planinica hike, beautiful views according to reviews (I had to turn back halfway due to rain, again, START EARLY).

The environment in Zabljak is overwelming. The mountains are stunning and beautiful. It’s great to walk/hike (bring sturdy shoes), but we also liked the rafting on Tara river very much. Zabliak is beautifully situated right next to the Durmitor...
Zabliak is beautifully situated right next to the Durmitor National Park which is the main attraction - and to be honest - the only attraction. The place is not particularly beautiful and the many construction sites do not give reason to expect that it will soon become more beautiful. There are some restaurants that have adapted to the tourists, i.e. moderate service and comparatively high prices. The place markets itself as a hiker's paradise, but offers only comparatively few hiking trails. A big annoyance are the quads that drive around everywhere, even in the national park and can negatively affect the hiking holiday in the long term. The Durmitor National Park is very beautiful and the drive on the Durmitor Ring scenic road is highly recommended.

House is less than 10min drive from city of Zabljak, but far away from all the surrounding houses and roads, so that it is really quiet and surrounded by nature, with wonderful views of Durmitor's peaks. House itself if large enough for a big group of people, but cozy enough that the 2 of us felt comfortable. A nice garden surrounds the house, where you can relax, eat your meals outside etc. I would gladly stay there again, once I go back to Durmitor next time.

The location is excellent, as it's right next to the main road leading to the ski resort, offering a stunning view of the mountains. There are multiple trails nearby that allow you to explore the breathtaking nature of Durmitor Mountain. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return in the future.

The surroundings are truly beautiful. It's about 10 minutes drive to Žabljak, where you can find shops and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need. The English speaking son was not home but his parents are lovely people and it's no problem to communicate. Nice surroundings for walks. Proximity of Black Lake and Durmitor national reserve park. The house is comfortable and really, really clean. There is own parking place right outside the cottage, and there is a wooden porch before the entrance to the house, with nice wooden benches and a garden table for eating outside when the weather allows.
