A really nice homestay in the middle of Malta where it is quieter than the tourist hotspots full of tourists on the coast of Sliemma and St.Julians etc. A nice garden with pool is a big bonus to wake up with your coffee and breakfast. Paula did her best to make everything as comfy as possible.
Set 6.5 km from University of Malta, 7.6 km from Valletta Waterfront and 7.6 km from Upper Barrakka Gardens, you can enjoy your time at waterford apartment offers accommodation situated in Attard.

The lovely smiling staff, who seemed in the majority to be Filipino, were all very helpful and extremely polite. They really are an asset to the hotel!
We booked bed and breakfast, and the breakfast buffet was extensive and very good. Rooms are nice and have very comfortable beds, the room was cleaned daily, and the sheets were changed every 3 days. We were able to use the facilities at the Corinthia hotel next door, so there were 6 pools to choose from, plenty of sunbeds and pool bars at both hotels. Nice view of St George's Bay and a short walk down to the very lively nightlife of Paceville (if we had wanted it). There are about 6 restaurants in the hotel area. We tried most of them and thought the Italian was the nicest, but we didn't try the Michelin starred one, it's best to book them in advance at all of them as they can all get quite busy.
All in all we had a lovely holiday there.

Lovely area with San Anton Gardens and the presidential gardens where you can have a snack. Valletta ( capital )and Mdina (silent city) not to far either. Craft village is up the road on the way to Mdina.

Attard is a peaceful, relaxed area, perfect if your looking for peace and quiet during your stay. There are a few local convenience stores but restaurants are further away. You can order in using Bolt or Wolt. Uber is also available for a taxi service as well as Bolt.

Attard is a quiet and romantic neighbourhood with amazing properties. You feel the grandeur of a different era. It has lots of charm and places to see. However, I did not find too many shops in the area. The restaurants are good but not impressive.

Attard is in a central position between Valetta and Mdina with regular buses to both. It is a charming village and we went to Jalies a high end coffee and light bites cafe (but does burgers, pasta too). It is walking distance frm Balzan, another lovely village, with plenty of places to eat and drink. Zmerc bar is lively and brings endless free tapas- very good value and fun!

Nice residential area, but limited bars and restaurants.
Nice residential area, but limited bars and restaurants.
We visited the San Anton Gardens, which are free. Pleasant walk, probably allow 1 hour or so.
We ate at Melita Gardens - snack menus and full menus on offer. Italian food/ sandwiches. Beers and cocktails. Nice outside area, with sunny and shaded tables.
Saracino's Cafe was a pleasant neighbourhood restaurant; good family style restaurant serving italian food. Small outside seating area, larger inside areas.
Shopping is very limited, small supermarket - Scotts - was the only one we found.

The village & architecture is beautiful and feels very safe to walk through at night. Very peaceful. Lovely walks through the San Anton Gardens adjacent to the Presidential Palace. Easy access to public transport.
- I liked the location - Attard is a lovely residential neighborhood, clean and quiet. The San Anton gardens are an absolute must-see and a great place for a daily stroll.
- The vitality room in the hotel is worth visiting, well-designed with big french doors overlooking an outdoor pool area.
- The lobby and Corinthia Palace restaurant are very tastefully decorated and spacious. The lunch at the restaurant was tasteful and fairly priced.
- Balconies overlooking the gardens.
Room size was good. Bed size was excellent. Comfort of bed was excellent, and air con was easy to use and entirely controllable.
Front desk staff were very helpful-nothing was too much trouble,
Lunch service and meal options were also very good.
Very good poolside drinks service too. Gym is well equipped and great to have classes available to book, but the hotel should sort out payment via the room, despite this obviously being a franchise.
Epitome of 5 star hotel. Yes it’s an old hotel, but it runs like a dream. The 5 star quality reflects in their staffs, food quality (i tried rickshaw, italian food at the villa, summer kitchen and breakfast), spa and amenities. One of the best salon chain in Malta also has a branch inside the hotel. Going to Mdina is only a short bus ride or bolt away.
Beautiful and stylish hotel with beautiful grounds. Situated in a quiet residential area with the lovely St Antonio Gardens next to it. Lots of history - hotel was opened by the Duke of Edinburgh. Hotel boasts a classical facade with tastefully furnished interior. Very clean and modern rooms. We looked forward to returning to our room every day.
The charm of the hotel, and the location, far from the mass tourism and close to the airport which was just perfect to end our trip before flying back home.
We also went to the Michelin Star hotel which was a crazy good deal in terms of value for money.
The size of the pool.
The overall friendliness of the staff and the way they seemed to know you could do with a bit of help, a hint, an advice. The breakfast, the look of the outside pool, the Bahia restaurant that is located in the hotel. The easy bus connections to everywhere.
The location of the hotel is in an area nearby a park with all sorts of animals and a variety of plant life. It was the best part of our trip, waking up each morning, getting coffee, fresh pastries and wandering around the park with our little daughter,
Everything! This is one of the best, if not the best hotel in Malta. We keep coming back and it never disappoints. It's a unique and beautiful hotel, the staff is ever so courteous and knowledgeable, the food delicious and the facilities outstanding.
The hotel is well maintained and has beautiful gardens and furniture. The pool is also very good. The staff are exceptional!! They're friendly and professional and a credit to the hotel!! I will definitely stay at this hotel again!!
We had a lovely terrace view of the back of the property. The restaurants in the hotel were excellent and the staff was amazing. I would definitely return and encourage others to book your next visit to Malta with Corinthia Palace.
room is very spacious and comfortable. The facilities offered by the hotel are amazing. The service was over the top. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious stay
Excellent hotel in a very good location next to San Anton garden and president palace. For those who don't want to be in the city center, it's a good choice. Excellent service and breakfast.
This is a very beautiful hotel in a nice location. Breakfast and dinner are very good. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
