I recently had the pleasure of staying at Silia's Maisonette in Marsaskala, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, Silia's warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic stay. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and at home. Her genuine hospitality is truly remarkable and made my stay exceptionally pleasant. Silia provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining spots, which greatly enhanced my visit to this beautiful coastal town. The maisonette itself is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. My room was cozy, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The shared spaces, including the kitchen and lounge area, were also spotless and well-equipped. It was evident that great care is taken to maintain the property to a high standard. One of the highlights of my stay was the convenient location. The maisonette is just a short walk from St. Thomas Bay Beach and Wara l-Jerma Bay Beach, making it easy to enjoy the stunning Maltese coastline. The peaceful inner courtyard views added to the relaxing atmosphere, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.I particularly appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the air-conditioned rooms, which added to the comfort of my stay. The luggage storage option was also a nice touch, making my travel experience hassle-free.Overall, my experience at Silia's Maisonette was nothing short of wonderful. The combination of exceptional hospitality, clean and comfortable accommodations, and a prime location make it a top choice for anyone visiting Marsaskala. I highly recommend Silia's Maisonette and look forward to returning in the future.Thank you, Silia, for a memorable stay!

Great value for money and a very friendly host. The apartment is very big, though we didn't use much. WiFi is also provided and the balconies are nice. Neighbours are friendly and quiet. The AC unit works very well. Having a fridge is useful too. If you simply need a place to stay for the night, this works.

Nice place, very good to eat.
Nice place, very good to eat. But Malta in general is nearly full with buildings. So a lot of people, a lot of traffic.
Maltese people in general are quite secluded, even though everybody speaks English quite well. If you strike up a conversation with somebody in the street, you can be sure it's a foreign traveler too.

I also spent time in Valletta, Sliema and Gozo. I'm so glad I ended the trip in Marsaskala. It's a lot quieter and more comfortable the other places I stayed. It was the perfect way to wind down and enjoy the harbor, the people and the ambiance of Malta before leaving. And it's also closer to the airport!

We had a week in St Pauls Bay so our 2nd week at Marsaskala was most welcome. A quiet coastal village/small town and off of the main tourist route. Having said that, Valletta is only 20 minutes away and easily reached by bus for 2euros or a Bolt Taxi for about 12 euros. Bolt is superb service and cheaper than white taxis & Uber. We used them quite a bit in our 2 weeks when some buses were full.
Marsaxlokk 10 minutes away is well worth a visit, go on Sunday if you want heaving crowds around the market or any other day if you want to enjoy the fishing village with sme 70 fishing boats in the bay, a few market stalls and a very relaxed feel.
If you do visit on Sunday, avoid the stall selling 'Maltese' small biscuits & cakes right opposite the village square/Costa Coffee. There are lots of online warnings about him, items are unpriced but when you come to pay you will be ripped off eg. 5 euro for a 2" almond cake. He won't give you a refund if you complain.
In Marsaskala, 'Cool Waters' bar has excellent food and very reasonably priced.
Orient Market 3 is a big well stocked supermarket with good prices.

We liked St Thomas Bay - wonderful for swimming (there is a small sandy beach and several rocky spots) and for starting your walks (we walked to the village of Marsaxlokk, through very beautiful labdscapes).
We found some nice restaurants with very tasty food.
The town itself did not look particularly interesting to us, but we only covered a small neighbourhood, so wouldn't know about the rest.

Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals.
Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals. Some boats but not a lot going in and out. It is not close to a sandy beach. There are a few small supermarkets and several restaurants with different price ranges to choose from. The problem is if you wish to travel by car then it is in part of the urban Valetta area and there are very busy roads to navigate to get in and out.
The hotel owner was very friendly and engaged, he provided us with a lot of information, tips and gave insight into the local culture. We could really feel that hotel focuses on providing the best experience for our stay. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. There was almost everything we could need and there was paid a lot of attention even to small details. Good location, close to the bus stop, shops and the coast. Thank you for making our stay delightful! :)
Great and large apartment with one living room ,one bedroom ,kitchen, and bathroom . Extremly clean and beautiful decorated, it also has a huge terrace from where you can admire a part of Malta. You have all electric appliances needed , in good conditions as some of them looked beand new.Hosts were really nice and helpful ,they even came to pick us up by car as taxi dropped us on a wrong addressed . We really felt at home.
Modern, fully equipped and easily accessible by car (easy to park, too), yet conveniently close (1 km walk) to the Marsaskala harbor, where we had dinner every evening (and then walked back UPhill - but it's not that steep). It was very calm - slept very well. All is new, kitchen fully equipped (did not use), perfect cleanness, modern design - and very spacious, atop of everything. Highly recommended!
It was beautifull visit. Comfortable bed and good design in room and at all hotel. Fantastic view. Very good and diffrent breakfest and we could eat outdoor. In plus was always access to water. Localisation as very good, beacuse buses are near the hotel.
If hotel will cooperate with taxi only for guest it will be very good in plus. We had fly at 4 o clock and it was difficult to find transport.
The suite is beautiful!!! The view is exactly like the picture shown (keep in mind only the suites have this view, the other rooms don’t have the balcony and view). But the place is very clean, the staff is wonderful, allowed us to sit in the lobby and have bfast before it was time to checkin. I highly recommend this property to everyone staying in Marsaskala. Worth every penny
Everything was above good! The flat contained absolutely everything needed for a longer stay (flat iron, drying rack, washing machine, kitchen supplies, oven, microwave) and more! The apartment itself is huge and beds are comfortable. Location is good, very near bus station and there are multiple stores in one minute distance from the hotel. Staff was amazing!
Great location with plenty of supermarkets in a minute or two and the promenade where all the bars and restaurants are.
We did book room in hotel and was given 2 bedroom apartment across the road. Enjoyed having the extra space, access to washing machine, fridge for cold drinks with the hotel facilities especially the daily maid service. Who were very nice.
The location is good, you have the sea crossing the street. The attention of the girls is really nice, they are very attentive and helpful! The cleaning is good too..! The food of the restaurante is amazing!
We wanted to thank all of the workers because we have finished our honeymoon at your hotel and we would repeat again!
We were met at the airport by Justin who then delivered us to our hotel. Along the way he shared what Malta was known for, some back ground history and some of the best places to visit while we were there. We were met at the door by Maria who was absolutely lovely as well and very responsive when we had questions.
Very clear instructions on how to access the apartment. Very lovely hosts who can provide lots of advice about what to see and do in Malta. Great apartment for a family of six with all the appliances you would want. Easy to get to the city centre of Marsaskala, airport and Valetta by car or local public transport.
Convenience store nearby, close to the center. Very spacious, very clean, large balcony. Host very friendly and super easy to communicate with. Everything you might need. Quiet street and you might even be lucky to find a parking on that street or some parallel ones, which is super rare in Malta.
View from the apartment is amazing!!! Terase is greatest! Host was always available, even checking on us if everything is OK 👍
People on Malta are extremely nice and nice hosts, everywhere: shops, restaurants, on the streets..
A hotel located close to the town center and the means of transport. The staff was very kind OK beds, and the cleaning was done on demand, which is a good thing for me.
A hotel I recommend if you want to stay in Marsaskala.
There was no breakfast the location as you stood on the patio to your left. You can see the sea which was lovely, but in front of you to the left was an old hotel that was redundant, not the greatest view
Great value! The three of us were walking around Malta and spent a night in charming Maraskala. We made reservations here and sent our luggage ahead. Manager was most accommodating. Room was bright.
Fabulous, clean and fully equipped top floor apartment overlooking Marsaskala Bay. The apartment is close to public transport, shops and restaurants. Sean the host was very kind and attentive.
It was an exelent experience. Maria is so kind and she is always open to support you. Defenitely i will choose the same place for my next vacantion in Malta.
This was an apartment so no meals or attractions were applicable
Good and sufficient equipment Marsaskala is a great holiday area
