This is one of those places I could happily imagine myself...
This is one of those places I could happily imagine myself moving to. Hotel and tourism staff were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Two was small. but had so much history. New discoveries around every corner and were pointed to many by wonderful tourist info and museum staff. Only hiccup was finding vegetarian sit-in sandwiches or meals, with coffee. Had to make do with sit-in cake and pastry shops for lunches. There was no shortage of outlets for sweet treats. Big issue is that my middle just kept spreading! Spend days walking round the town and take some trips into the countryside. Be wary of just turning up at attractions. Many need booking and many of the castles in SIlesia are actually hotels where you need a minimum number to get a tour of the tourist areas.BrianUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0
We went to Lubań for a doctor's appointment.
We went to Lubań for a doctor's appointment. Since we were coming from Germany, we didn't want to be rushed. We were surprised that there was no Christmas Market. The people were very friendly and helpful! There just isn't a lot to see or do there. We felt that one more day would be a strain, but that was because of the freezing room at night in the hotel. There are a few things outside of Lubań that are not far away that could be seen. It was drizzling the day we left, so we didn't explore any further afield. I simply saw them in the internet.
