Anna and her team seem genuinely pleased to welcome you to the hotel, the rooms are spacious and adequately equipped and the restaurant offers great home cooked food that is incredible value and served with a smile - perfect! (the breakfast is lovely too!)

Dogs are still welcome, and they still offer an excellent early take-away breakfast option (even non gluten), the rooms are comfy and have teas and coffees. The restaurant is open quite late. The dod gets a blanket, a toy and a roll of bags (well, the last one is more for the humans, I guess).

It can be a bit noisy, but windows are quite soundproof. We loved the breakfast, bit portions, served individually. The restaurant looked very nice, but it was closed for dinner. There is a Greys restaurant across the road.
