I liked pretty much everything. The hosts are very friendly, the breakfast is amazing, the view is great, and it is just fun to explore the area.
Sheryl and Allan, thank you for the lovely breakfast and the visit recommendations. I went to the small bookshop and bought a book and most importantly: one of those lovely honey jams. I was so happy about it and intended to take it back home with me. Unfortunately, at my next stop, the baboons stole my honey. It sounds funny, but I was indeed pissed off, hahaha. I look forward to coming back, and next time I'll buy 2X honeys, and no one is going to steal them.

We really loved the privacy and coziness of the place. Thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit ,board games and activities nearby. We appreciated the warm welcome from our host as well as the guidebook of the area she also kept us up to date with the weather. Our host took such good care if us and we are looking forward to visiting again in warmer weather.
Cheryl and Alan are wonderful hosts. Tea and coffee on arrival. Quick run down of local attractions. Cheryl booked supper for us. Very comfortable room - everything that we needed was available and in good working order.
Breakfast was delicious.
Such a lovely couple, really welcoming and helpful.. Would totally recommend a stay here. Would gladly have stayed for longer🙂

The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to be as close to the sea as possible. The Lighthouse was also a walk away and it was so easy going up the 71 steps to the top to enjoy the beautiful view.
It was just unfortunate that we had bad weather and was not able to do all the things we planned to do. Theres a Parkrun every Saturday.

Beautiful little town, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy but we still walked around and visited the Southern most tip of Africa. I see there is many tidal pools. Lovely restaurants with good food. The city was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. Good shop and even a pick N pay liquor store. We will be back in summer

We went primarily to meet a friend.
We went primarily to meet a friend. Apart from being the most southerly point in Africa, it doesn’t have much to recommend it compared to many other places. There are nice beaches and rocky shores and a small harbour, but many of those elsewhere. The lighthouse is worth a visit - but major construction taking place when we were there so no car park etc.. There are quite a few dirt roads in the area which, apart from offering a rough ride, make the car very dirty. The main access road is fine however.

Our trip was fantastic.
Our trip was fantastic. The welcome were received was very warm and the accommodation spacious and with a great outlook. Throughout our stay we felt very comfortable and our hosts gave us some great information about both dining and visiting.
We HIGHLY recommend the Agulhas Ocean House. Sheryl and Allan were the most awesome hosts: super hospitable, helpful and kind. The Ocean House is very conveniently located about 2 km from the L'Agulhas lighthouse and about 3 km from the southermost point in Africa. It is wonderfully set up - we had the super quiet Zen room which has its own sitting room, extra large bedroom and ample bath. The breakfasts had a great selection of cold and hot items all of which were very tasty.
The small apartment is very cute and comfy and equipped with everything you need. We even had some fresh eggs, drinks and milk in the fridge and coffee and tea for free as the accomodation doesn't offer traditional breakfast. The beach ist right outside and it's just a short 15min walk to some restaurants in town. A great place to go to Kap Agulhas, we would have loved to stay longer!
It's a beautiful, comfortable & clean little cottage with everything you need. The setup was convenient & easy. The garden with the different bird species was a bonus & being close to a few tourist attractions was the ideal place for a much needed holiday. The hostess was very hospitable & you can see that she takes pride in her business.
Location was perfect! Sea view limited but great. Decor lovely and thoughtful additions like a picnic basket and beach bag. Close to lighthouse and ocean and lovely Potpouri coffee shop accross the road
Loved the key post box system and the clubhouse. Everything was great! Highly recommended.
Best hosts ever! Beautiful house and views, we really enjoyed our stay with Sheryl and Allan. They are kind and lovely, they made us feel home. Breakfast was great as well! Will definetely recommend stop at Agulhas and stay at this place.
Top location, excellent view! The apartment is cozy and clean, the host is very helpful. We experienced a heavy storm during our time in Agulhasbestview. In this special situation our host Annari provided every possible support and help.
What an amazing place to stay!!! Excellent location within walking distance of the lighthouse, restaurants and the beach. The flatlet is cozy and comfortable with a private stoepie where you can sit for hours and look out over the ocean.
Great location close to Cape Agulhas, lovely room plus Liz was very friendly and accommodating of our late arrival due to traffic en-route. Perfect overnight stay for our brief stopover at the Southernmost part of Africa.
The view was terrific. Not particularly fancy but comfy and anything you could need was provided. The owners provided some great travel tips and we enjoyed a nice walk along the shore to the lighthouse.
Our 25th anniversary. Could not have asked for a better stay. Very Private. Clean and very upmarket facility. Better than any other Hotel stay. Excellent value for money. Would recommend to anyone.
The best breakfast that we had on our trip! Room was spacious and quite, equipped with everything required. Kap Agulhas is underrated - very safe, nice beaches, great views and tasty restaurants
Comfortable for an easy-going family. Beds were comfortable and clean. The location was excellent with both Struisbaai and Agulhas easy to reach. We loved having the washing machine available.
