Fantastic weekend in Greyton. 30 Oak St is a perfect place to stay. It is close (walking distance) to many restaurants and cafe's, but on a quiet street just outside the "buzz" zone. The hosts are responsive and informative. Good value, highly recommended.

A picturesque town with many interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Good choice of restaurants, interesting art, mostly within easy walking distance.
Restaurants and shops closing early during the ArtWalk weekend was a disappointment. It seems pointless to offer activities that draw visitors, but then not offer them what they came for.

Greyton is a very pretty village.
Greyton is a very pretty village. A lot of good accommodation available. Quite a lot of restaurants, cafes / coffee shops. A supermarket, petrol station by and a pharmacy, so more than adequate from C a shopping aspect.
We were there for the annual classical music festival, not the first one we have attended in Greyton, and it was most enjoyable.
Great destination for walks / hikes, mountain biking etc.
Generally a great place to visit !!

Greyton has so much to offer.
Greyton has so much to offer. This time we chose a quiet and peaceful stay, popping into the various little shops and restaurants and 2 leisurely walks around the town were sufficient. I have done the Greyton/ McGregor hike a couple of times in the past which is not easy. AbbeyRose offers great meals and The Post House coffee shop super cappuchino. I can highly recommend Carla for a massage!
Leon was a wonderful host, plus he gave us some tips on places to go, and restaurants. The room with courtyard is so beautiful, and felt like a little sanctuary to us after each hot day exploring this beautiful town. Walking distance from all shops and restaurants makes it so easier and you can experience all the beautiful homes along the way. Will definitely visit Greyton and this jewel Courtyard on Weder! Thanks so much Leon! See you again soon. From the Maritz couple, Durbanville, Cape Town🇿🇦
Accommodation was perfectly situated in the town, easy for us to walk everywhere. Bedroom was very spacious, Decor in bedroom and bathroom beautiful, and so clean! The King size bed was so comfotable! Amazing garden and different outdoor seating areas. to relax at. Hosts, Cecil and Corrie, were absolutely wonderful and spoilt us with rusks, muesli and yoghurt for breakfast, plus there was coffee, tea, milk, still water. We would definitely book here again whenever we next visit Greyton !
A fabulous room, despite being attached to the main house, it has it's own entrance. It certainly is quiet and private, over looking a beautiful garden. It is centrally located within Greyton. Loved the special touches with the generous coffee ( along with it's quality) and the biscuits that were included. Very thoughtful. Becky is a friendly and attentive hostess who was most welcoming upon our arrival.
Excellent accomodations in Greyton! An exceptionally homey apartment close to the Saturday market and downtown attractions. Thoughtfully appointed with all the comforts of home. Solar power is appreciated to avoid load shedding. The yard/garden is tranquil and offers spectacular mountain views. Most important, Doug and Beulah were fantastic hosts, and took great care to ensure our wonderful stay.
I arrived before the check in time due to travelling between locations and wanting to set off on a long hike through greyton that day. The staff very kindly let me check in and drop off my bags ahead of the check in time while the room cleaning was being completed so we could set off on the hike and return just before dark.
Spent quality time with my family in a beautiful house and town. De Oude Pastorie feels like home away from home. It is situated in the main road with many little restaurants to explore and a market on each Saturday. I would definitely recommend staying at De Oude Pastorie while you are exploring the lovely Greyton area.
It was the perfect location, serene and peaceful, for a wonderful weekend. We stayed in a beautiful renovated, well equipped farmhouse, Wildevy
Hemelsbreed Farm is in the Overberg, surrounded by the Riviersonderend Mountain range, only 10km from Greyton.
We can definitely recommend Hemelsbreed Farm
Warm welcome by the host set us off to a good start. The house is very spacious, with a very well-equipped kitchen and an easy walk from restaurants and shops in Greyton. The dog loved the enclosed garden, and it was special to see the free-roaming horses on the streets.
beautiful lodge with the most beautiful views and garden. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. They gave a complimentary bottel of wine with a card for my girlfriend’s birthday ! will definitely stay there every time we go to Greyton !
The Lady Grace is wonderfully centrally situated with all the amenities you could need. There are two very well stocked supermarkets as well as an abundance of eateries within steps of the hotel. Both check in and check out was seamless and the staff very friendly.
Great location in town, walking distance to everything in the village.
Rooms were not luxurious, but perfectly comfortable and quickly character. Each room with its own decor, and interesting furnishings.
Perfect for a Greyton breakaway!
Great location for the hiking trails in Greyton. Very comfortable lodgings with high quality appliances and kitchen and bathroom essentials. Owner, Tommy, and staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Good vibe all round.
This is a lovely little hotel, with a great little bar/pub. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was large and very comfortable. Firewood for the fireplace was included, which we enjoyed in the cold weather.
The staff kindly prepared breakfast to take away the next morning as we hiked the Greyton to McGregor trail. They also looked after our luggage whilst we hiked, and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs.
