Sam, the owner, is so friendly and helpful! The hostel is clean, comfortable and in a lovely peaceful location. You are less than a minute's walk away from the beach, as well as being opposite a little shop and restaurant. There are plenty of other gorgeous beaches nearby as well, I have stayed in over 20 hostels and this one is up there with my absolute favourites! You can order breakfast in the morning, which is very affordably priced, and you can enjoy it on the balcony. They have kayaks and SUPs available for hire, as well as scooters/ mopeds - the latter I highly recommend for at least a day so that you can explore the island. You can also organise for Sam to pick you up from the jetty and drop you off as well, which is a big help and is much more reasonable than getting a taxi. Sam's hospitality makes this place special, I wish I could have stayed longer!

Located in Koh Samui, Baan Hinlad Home and Hostel has a garden. Free WiFi is available and in-house parking is provided. All units at the hostel are equipped with a seating area. Super nice host! very helpful. Nice big terrace and garden. Near river, waterfalls, Buddhist temple. Overall feel was very good and positive. Free coffee and water, shampoo and soap. Recently stayed at this hostel and honestly it was my best stay in Thailand. Staff is amazing and always willing to help. The place is always clean and very good environment overall at the hostel. I felt really happy here. The facilities also offer free drinking water which is very nice. The location is perfect, close to the center and if u need something you can talk to the staff and they will arrange it.

Rooms are nice, there are lockers. We had a balcony. If possible, get a scooter to commut around.

Such a beautiful, chill place. Lovely owners, delicious food and a beautiful sunset everyday. Just chilling in the hammock watching the sunset while smoking or having a drink. Also tours you can do that will be booked by the hostel. 7/11 is close by if you need anything special. If you need a few days to relax definitely come here. Also very clean!
