Opened in December 2012, this resort is located at the foot of the Tennengebirge Mountains, 1 km from the ski lift. Bergresort Werfenweng includes a spa area with indoor and outdoor pools. We love this place. We have been there twice and every time we enjoyed it to the full.

This was possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff were really helpful and the facilities were excellent. They had a Finnish sauna which was actually pretty close to the real thing. A dip in the roof top pool before breakfast is highly recommended!

A small family owend hotel, it seems that the whole family is invested in making your stay comfortable and fun. The staff was helpful and kind - from the main desk, to the waitress and the kitchen. The design of the room and the hotel itself was beautiful and updated. The room was as clean as possible. One of the best showers I've had in a hotel. There is a spa area in the hotel that we didn't get to use. Breakfast was excellent. In the evening the lobby becomes an inviting and cool looking bar with great snacks to eat, and fun atmosphere. Location is perfect in middle of town, near restaurants, supermarket, and the cable car. There is a hotel parking.

Located beside a shopping center, convenient to restaurants and grocery stores, in just about the heart of the city. Breakfast was above average for Austria, and the Pongau Stube restaurant served seasonal fresh asparagus.

Perfect spa with sauna and swimming pool. Underground way to Alpineterms. Skistail with dryer. Very accommodating staff! Great location!
