Situated within close walking distance to the heart of Broome, this hotel offers quality accommodation with excellent leisure facilities, just a 10-minute drive from Cable Beach. The hotel is very well located for getting out and about and seeing Broome. My room was lovely and big with a balcony overlooking the park. The hotel bistro bar was excellent for all my evening meals. The reception staff were very helpful in dealing with my queries about tours I had booked.

The hotel complex is beautiful with its lush flora. The villas are very spacious and tastefully furnished. The pool is nice and deep and very refreshing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience!

From NOK 2,307 per nightNo meals available but a great hotel called Kimberley Grande next door where you could get nice dinners. The surrounds are great and it was around 20 minute walk to town. The units are large and seem to have everything you want in them for self serviced apartments. The only complaint is that beds are changed every 7 days and I felt it should have been twice a week as lots of sand and dirt was brought in. Other than that worth staying at.

It’s a generic small hotel conveniently situated right as you arrive in Kimberley. I arrived earlier than expected but Marcia at Reception kindly facilitated a quick and efficient early check in. Room and common areas scrupulously clean and the staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The restaurant provided and excellent dinner and breakfast. I would have no hesitation recommending it as a stopover.

We would highly recommend staying at the Protea Hotel, Kimberley. The room was spacious, well furnished, light and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Location to the Big Hole a big plus. Staff were all very professional. All Covid 19 regulations were noticeable. Thank you for a great 2 night stay.

Comfortable and convenient and a bit of history rolled into one. The Half is an institution in Kimberley, and is well worth a stay. The facilities are good and everything is like it should be in a mid range hotel. "The Fat Greek" restaurant is one of three restaurants in the hotel and is excellent!

In my 11 years of living in the Kimberley I always tried to avoid staying in halls creek due to service I received at the two hotels. So happy to report that this stay was completely different. All staff I met from the front counter to the cleaners were very friendly and helpful... will be coming back. Thanks!

We had a pool studio room opening on to the Adult Pool. The pool was fabulous, with plenty of day beds and a variety of lounges to choose from. Alway plenty of towels. A variety of restaurants on-site was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble! Will definately return.
