We enjoyed our stay in Letterkenny and wished we had been there for longer! The Station House Hotel is central and within walking distance of the town and has ample parking. All the Staff made you feel very welcome and were very helpful. The Hotel is spotless as the bed linen and towels are changed daily. The food was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all tastes. Only thing missing was a Breakfast Menu as we didn't know if porridge was included. It was only when we heard a wee lady ask for porridge that we asked. We didn't see herbal or green tea and didn't like to ask. On Wednesday they did a Steak Night €25.00 for 2 people which consisted of a 10oz Sirloin Steak with all the trimmings and side order and it was scrumptious! We highly recommend this Hotel. There was a folder in the bedroom which detailed everything about the hotel. We saw a page with visitor attractions and Donegal County Museum was featured and it was on the High Street and free so we paid a visit. The lady on the Reception was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Letterkenny is very hilly. We visited St Eunan's Cathedral which is at the very top of the hill with a beautiful altar and stained glass windows. We also visited the Brewery Restaurant and Bar had cottage pie which came with a wee pot of pickled onions which I love. The portion was big and the sides were chips and side salad! Add this to your list.
Interesting and charming little town in Donegal County. A couple of nice restaurants.
Donegal County is a beautiful place steeped in history and exuding character. Easily accessible from NI and the UK, the area is well designed and equipped for tourism - always offering a 'holiday feel'. Donegal Town is just a small part of a much richer experience and some would say not the loveliest on offer. Therefore exploring more than one of the diverse villages, landscapes and beaches across the county is a must in order to find your favourite.
Ardara
The best B&B in Donegal County, possibly Ireland. Incredibly friendly, too kind for words and clean. The breakfast is delicious and the value for money overall is unrivaled. You will not be disappointed with your stay! Just have cash ready and if you are taking public transport, I hope you meet Desmond and Jerry on the Local Link bus. Cannot wait to come back soon!

Friendly staff great location 😁
We had a magnificent room overlooking Bundoran, with a large bathroom, super counter space, a little table with two chairs, as well as bedside shelves. Large windows letting light flood into the room, definitely want this room when I return!
Good but could have been heated better
Location was fantastic as it was a short walk to the pub which was beyond amazing- mccafferty’s
The gallery bar and restaurant was excellent.
We had room only rate so didn’t get to sample the breakfast unfortunately
The hotel is situated in one of the most scenic parts of the northern coast of Ireland, and would be my unreserved recommendation for anyone in search of gorgeous sea views. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, airy and light. The bathrooms are modern and have a walk-in shower, and everything is sparkling clean. The food in both the bar and restaurant was good, the spa also offered everything you could ask for. And all in all a very pleasant stay.
The room was lovely and had a nice view.
