The whole hotel is super cute and extremely well furnished, the staff was very nice and welcoming. Our JR Suite was spacious and stylish: the mini fridge was stocked with complimentary water (both still and sparkling) and Coca-Cola in glass bottles, on top there was also a Lavazza coffee maker with capsules, freshly baked cookies in a lovely “gift” box, a bottle of red wine with two wine glasses and bruschettas! The included breakfast was awesome, the buffet was full of freshly backed goods (sweet and savory) from their own next door bakery and plenty of plates from the kitchen (the pancakes were delicious!).

Amazingly designed properly with next level views of snow capped mountains. Host were so accommodating and the place was impeccable. A really short walk to town centre where the coffee and food will blow your mind. The walk back up the hill helps burn a few calories after the pizza, pasta and beer! We will be back with my family without a question. Apart from the accommodation I have fallen in love with Bormio. Honestly my favourite part of Italy.

The owners are very friendly. Apart from staying, we also have dinner at the hotel for 3 times. It’s a set menu but we always have options for first course, second course and desserts. The exterior of the building is beautiful and it’s location is at the square, very easy to find (like a landmark to me ☺️). Inside the building, it’s easy to navigate, our room is clean and warm. The restaurant is very cosy as well.

The Sottovento hotel is in the center of Bormio, about 300 meters far from the local ski resort. It offers refined suites with flat-screen satellite TV, most with balcony and free Wi-Fi. Such an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and flexible with anything we needed. Breakfast was served in our rooms which was an exciting surprise, we used the spa most days which was a great way to finish off a day of skiing. The hotel also offered a free private shuttle to take us to and from the nearest lifts.

Set in Valdidentro and surrounded by nature, Alpen Hotel Chalet offers modern themed accommodation with traditional features including wood floors and natural slate bathrooms. We stayed in the junior suite. Loved it! Loved the use of space which is separated by tree trunks- so imaginative! The room had everything that you ever want or need in a hotel. Very impressed! The restaurant is superb 👌🏽 absolutley quality! Very typical menu for the region but delivered to the highest standard. Breakfast was simple but the quality of food was exceptional- all the finest local produce. Staff were all lovely, welcoming and friendly. We will definately be returning.
