Located in the village of Planca di Sotto, the Waldheim Hotel has a Tyrolean restaurant, a sauna and a hot tub. It offers Alpine-style rooms with a balcony with Dolomite Mountain views. We didn't have time to explore around but our short stay was excellent, we were happy with everything we got and the staff even gave us bus tickets for the start of our hike.

Lovely location and lovely staff. Local language seemed to be German but the staff either spoke brilliant English or had the patience to work with us to get past any language barriers.

Vitalpina Hotel Magdalenahof is located 5 km from Val Casies, 100 metres from the Sankt Magdalena ski area. It features indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a spa area. A wonderful hotel, very welcoming, comfortable and an excellent dining experience. The facilities, pool, sauna, outdoor sauna and flowing river outside were a true experience. For kids it is well catered for and staff are very friendly.

Set 3 km from the village of Valle di Casies in the Puster Valley, Hotel Tyrol features a restaurant, a free sauna and steam bath. The traditional-style rooms boast a south-facing, panoramic balcony. Really nice hotel with great spa, the ski slopes (crosscountry) were right in front of the hotel and the bus station is 50m away. Dinner and breakfast were good. The valley Gseis is really a nice place for enjoing mountains and not too crowded.

Turmhotel Gschwendt is a classic Alpine hotel boasting panoramic views of the Puster Valley region. Located 7 km from Monguelfo Train Station, it offers traditional rooms with a balcony. The staffs are so nice and helpful. I booked dinner and breakfast. Dinner is so much and delicious more than i expected.
