Turtagrø Hotel hefur haldið sínar hefðir á rætur sínar að rekja til 8. áratugarins. Þetta hótel er staðsett 884 metra yfir sjávarmáli, við rætur Vest-Jötunheimen. This is a fantastic location with some of the more interesting hiking and climbing routes in Norway, near the Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark. We choose the accomodation in the "Swiss chalet" and this allow us to save a lot of money :-) without losing the magnificence of the place and additional services provided by the hotel like for example the very good dinner (one of the best we have in Norway). The Chalet is really beautiful and extremely functional. Clean and full of services, like the shower and the drying room.

Overlooking Lake Øvre Sjodalsvatnet, Bessheim Fjellstue offers an in-house restaurant and accommodation with mountain views and private bathrooms. The Gjende Boat departs 5.5 km away. We recently stayed two nights here and had a fantastic experience. The staff are all highly friendly, courteous, and hospitable. Initially, we could not make it all the way to the hotel in our car as the road leading to the hotel was closed due to severe rainstorms in the days leading up to our stay. Nonetheless, the hotel sent out staff members to meet us at a pick up point and drive us to the hotel. They also had staff drive us to the ferry in Gjendesheim to catch the first morning ferry to Besseggen. We absolutely would not have made it to our incredible hike at Besseggen if they were not willing to be so accommodating to us. They even had staff drive us back to our car once our stay was over! The dinner at the hotel was wonderful, and my friend and I especially loved their selection of local beers and aquavit. All in all, if you are hiking Besseggen or embarking on other adventures in Jotunheimen National Park, I could not recommend Bessheim Fjellstue og Hytter highly enough!

The Skjolden Hotel was the high point of my trip. I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.

Þetta fjölskyldurekna fjallasmáhýsi er staðsett í Bøverdal-dalnum, 25 km frá Jötunheimen-þjóðgarðinum. Það býður upp á veitingahús á staðnum, einkalistagallerí og sérinnréttuð herbergi. The common areas are very comfortable. The outdoor areas were also nice, lots of flowers.

Tyinholmen Høyfjellsstuer features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Eidsbugarden. The hotel provides both free WiFi and free private parking. At the hotel, each room has a wardrobe.

Sitla Hotel & Appartments býður upp á gistirými í Øvre Årdal. Hótelið býður einnig upp á ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Næsti flugvöllur er Sogndal-flugvöllurinn, 56 km frá hótelinu.

The location was great as it’s on the way and not at one end of Sognefjellet. The view was beautiful. Great starting point for walks. The food was fantastic. Great chef! The staff and owner were available and helpful, and ensure I had anything I needed. The room was simple and comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The fireplace in the lobby area was great.

Eide gard er staðsett í Skjolden, aðeins 30 km frá Urnes Stave-kirkjunni og býður upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The farm house is located in a very beautiful area, it’s beautiful house, nicely decorated with amazing views. Huge clean kitchen, cozy rest areas and some areas of the house are just a museum, also very comfortable bed. Ms Mara is a very friendly, nice and welcoming host - we did enjoy staying in the Eidi Gard, would highly recommend!

Galde Uppigard býður upp á gistirými í Boverdalen. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Gististaðurinn er með fjölskylduherbergi og barnaleiksvæði. Great hosts. Good and constant communication. Beautiful location. Cabin was perfect for two people (but it could easily accommodate up to 6). It has everything one would need. Recommended 100% and would definitely come back. The exhibition farm is beautiful too and the eggs from the local hen(s) are delicious

Strind Gard, Visdalssetra er staðsett í Boverdalen á Oppland-svæðinu og er með verönd og fjallaútsýni. The cabin was cozy and beautiful. The view was absolutely amazing! A group of young cows lived kind of freely on the mountain and it was so lovely to see them grazing right on the other side of the fence around the cabin. Loved it!
