One of the best breakfasts we have had on our travels. The staff are really helpful on planning your hike. The showers are good and they also offer dinner.

Located in Yanque, 11 km from Bus Station, Hotel Puerta del Sol Colca provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. A brand new hotel with superb views over the Colca Canyon. The restaurant overlooking the valley and mountains beyond is very good, with the alpaca dishes being particularly tasty. There was a better than average selection for breakfast, and service was attentive but not intrusive. The barman (whose name I didn't catch, sadly) mixes a very decent Pisco Sour. There is parking to the rear of the building. The staff (particularly Gaudi the receptionist/concierge) were friendly and genuinely seemed to want us to have a great time. Apparently there is a also sauna, but we didn't use it. The room was very comfortable, with an open (gas) fire and spa bath,. The kettle was a welcome addition.

Set in Chivay, 200 metres from Chivay Arena, Colibrí Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and conveniently located (easy walk to main square but far enough to be quiet). The staff (Lisbeth) was especially helpful and accommodating, allowing me to pay in dollars and making a very good breakfast early (5:40am) just for me.

Set in Chivay, within 100 metres of Chivay Arena and 200 metres of Bus Station, Colca Canyon Hotel offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private... The bed was the best during my whole travel through South- and Central America! Hot water!

Sonqo Killa del Colca is set in Chivay, within 3.8 km of La Calera Hot Spring and 3.8 km of Colca Archaeological Natural Museum. Clean, lovely, quiet place with warm showers. Breakfast is good and owners are kind and helpful. Electric heaters to plug in. It gets really cold during the night, so definitely bring warm clothes also to sleep. I'd recommend to choose this hostel.

Situated in Yanque, 7.8 km from Bus Station, Le Foyer Colca features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Lovely hostel in Yanque. Excellent staff. Big clean rooms, clean bathroom. Breakfast served every morning. Great location for our stay near the Colca Canyon.

Boasting a terrace, Colca Andina Inn is situated in Chivay in the Arequipa region, 1.1 km from Colca Canyon and 200 metres from Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Everything was great. Spacious room, comfortable beds, hot shower and amazing breakfast. The owner was very nice, she helped us with information and organized for us a tour to Colca canyon. Highly recommended place to stay.

La Casa de Santiago Hotel offers accommodation in Cabanaconde. A semi buffet breakfast is served daily with local organic products. Cosy room with a very friendly and helpful host, who helped us navigate around the area. In addition, there is a very nice garden outside to enjoy.
