We got lucky to experience the festival "Loy Krathong", the hotel made a special dinner and event with the guests, it was great. Would love to come back one day. Absolutely recommend it!

The woman from the hotel helped us book excellent tours, provided us with a scooter and arranged our airport transport. She helps you with everything you need and does it always with a smile! Every morning you get a delicious breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit. The staff is kind and treats you with so much respect. The location is perfect. Away from the busy area around the pier, but close to so many beautiful beaches. Also plenty of restaurants nearby, with Yawee as a real 'must go to'. The small price you only pay for a hotel like this, is a bonus! We would come back here without a doubt!

Overlooking Kawkwang Beach, Saladan Resort offers Thai-style accommodation with free WiFi. A beachfront pool and hot tub are featured. Free parking and 1 dining option is available. The people who run the place are so friendly and helpful. The staff would clean the room every day (and bring water and replace towels, etc) - but they also respected that I didn't need daily cleaning and just asked me what I did need. It is only a short walk into town - but the resort itself is quiet and peaceful though I enjoyed meeting other guests over coffee and toast in the morning. The bed was very comfortable.

Ved å gi dette hotellet og denne plassen så gode anmeldelser riskerer jeg at hotellet er fullt neste gang jeg skal dit. Likevel unner jeg andre å oppleve dette også. Med en fantastisk solnedgang fra hotellest solsenger ga dette området deg den roen du trenger. Her er ingen vannscootere eller paraseiling som lager unødvendig støy. Fine store familierom. Fine bassengområder. Mange fine resturanter rett ved hotellet og vi spiste alle våre måltider med sand mellom tærne. Herlig.

Great hotel. Spacious well kept rooms. Very clean and comfortable beds. Housekeeping did a great job surprising our child by staging a scene with his stuffed animals and a towel-art dog. Plenty of things surrounding the property which are easily accessed if you rent a motorbike or use a tuk-tuk that are available outside the property. Excellent pools. One shallow pool (approx 75cm) which is good for kids, one big infinity pool, a lap pool and one up on the hill (not really worth the climb if you’re not already up there). The breakfast has a good mix of continental and Thai options, and brings daily variety. Daily planned activities for kids are fun. A big shout out to the staff member (unfortunately don’t know his name) who took a lot of patience to teach our son - who doesn’t speak any English - the basics of Muay Thai. He’ll forever be our son’s hero.

Their level of service is second to none in what we experienced in Thailand and in many places in fact. We start with a natural flower necklace and a welcome drink, plus a cold towel with lemongrass scent. Fabulous. The room was spacious, well stocked (around 6 bottles of their own water, minibar, toiletries, bathtub and shower, safe, roves, slippers, hairdryer), large balcony, perfect shower. We got two keys so one was powering the AC and keeping the room cool for our arrival each day. The staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely cared to say hello ad we passed every day and to ask if we need anything. By the end of the trip we were on first name basis. Everything was a ten out of ten. Before we left they sent us the sweetest goodbye message on the app (download the app it is really good) and offered late checkout. They also left us flowers and a scent of Pimalai in the room on the last night as scent is the longest lasting memory. The dive centre on the grounds was a great bonus and without expecting to dive whilst in Koh Lanta, we managed to do two dives in one day whilst at Pimalai. The beach is long. We saw a couple get engaged and have a beautiful engagement dinner with tiki torches and a decorated covered area so if you're looking for something special they have that experience too. Note: we didn't encounter any mosquitos in Koh Lanta - unusual compared to what we experienced in other parts of Thailand. The experience at Pimalai made us want to go back to Koh Lanta again. A slice of luxury in a paradise location.

The service is very friendly and any problems are solved immediately. Breakfast is particularly delicious. The location is the best in this area. There are several cute dogs running around on the beach for a walk every morning. so cute. The buffet breakfast has a lot of choices, and the fried rice is more delicious than what is sold in star-rated restaurants outside, which is a surprise. I will choose this place to stay next time I come here

Fantastisk sted. Nydelig strand med krystallklart vann. Stranden er smal og har en del skygge så å reise med småbarn som kunne leke, sove osv i skyggen var helt perfekt. Fineste solnedgangene jeg har opplevd. Rommene var estetisk fine og rene. Maten var nydelig og personellet var høflige, blide, profesjonelle og hjelpsomme. Massasjen var rimelig og veldig bra. Very nice place to stay. A friendly atmosphere. Inti was very helpful with all our questions. The rooms are basic, but clean, with good beds and airco.
