Located in Voelklip, a suburb of Hermanus, Mosselberg on Grotto Beach offers heated pool and courtyard. This elegant boutique hotel features free WiFi and is a 5-minute walk from the beach. I lived in many countries and am a seasoned traveler. This was probably the most spacious room I've ever stayed in. The room is large, has big glass doors opening onto the ocean with an open plan en suite bathroom. It is modern and well maintained. The way the facilities are laid out in the room shows somebody paid attention to detail. For example, the towels are right where you need them at the basin, not somewhere over there. 10/10 for this facility. I will stay there again in a heartbeat. We were held up by traffic and was running late for a wedding. The staff checked us in in two seconds and helped us with whatever we needed to get ready soon.

What a truly amazing place in every respect. Just book it; you will not be disappointed. Everything, and I mean everything is perfect. From the complimentary bottle of wine at check in until our sorrowful goodbye every little detail is taken care of. Of course, the staff is wonderful and will do anything for you. We had a flight delay from the States and the travel shop found us an opening on a whale excursion, so we did not have to miss our wonderful experience with the whales. Thank you Marine Hermanus.

Situated in Stanford, 21 km from Vogelgat Nature Reserve, Springfontein Wine Estate features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Amazing time at the estate! The service, the food, and the farm were all excellent.

Located in Sandbaai, only 50 meters away from Schulphoek Bay, Schulphoek Seafront House features an outdoor pool and a garden. we had a ocean view room and would highly recommend to go for this, as waking up to the sunrise overlooking the water and seeing the sunset from the bed is really special. don’t think I have ever been to a hotel with such undisturbed views of the ocean. the rooms are large and nicely equipped with a free mini bar (non alco), and over all service was top! breakfast was nicely prepared made to order. it’s located 5-10 min outside of hermanus, so you need to drive to restaurants, but it’s worth the effort.
