The hotel is beautifully designed and in a beautiful area very close to some picturesque beaches. The staff are very friendly and attentive and make it easy to organise trips and activities so you can experience Sumba. Surf lessons are a lot of fun and the village tour and waterfall tour are both great. Cocktails were really good, as was the food at breakfast. The hotel seems to have a good relationship with the local people and seems to have genuinely benefitted Sumba.

Welcoming, food and spa treatments were impeccable, among the best we received after four years in Indonesia.

Ecoresort Sumba Dream offers a beachfront accommodation in Tanaraing, Sumba. Among the various facilities are a garden and a terrace. There is a restaurant. We had a wonderful stay at Sumba Dream! The scenery is very relaxing and the beach is just a few steps away. The location is far away from everything but that's part of why we chose to stay there. It's really peaceful and Blandine's cooking skills are truly next level! You won't stay hungry, trust me :) We hired a driver that was recommended to us and we're very happy with his service too. It's so worth it to go on a day trip and explore nature in East Sumba! The tide was very low during our stay, so unfortunately a snorkeling trip wasn't possible. In the end that didn't bother us because overall the time at Sumba Dream ecoresort was just perfect. Thank you so much, Blandine and Laurent!

The staff are lovely, ready to do anything to help you. They helped us with everything, also to rent a scooter worked well. The cabins are perfectly equipped and the view is breathtaking. The application is a real plus and being able to have quick answers via instant chat is a game changer. In short words, excellent value for money to stay in Sumba. We could see the sea from our bed. Fantastic !!!!

Lelewatu Resort Sumba features free WiFi and rooms with air conditioning in Watukarere. This resort had a amazing view. Room was clean and very comfortable with our private pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bokosawu Restaurant was exquisite with breakfast. Thoroughly recommend to anyone travelling to Sumba Island
