Very welcoming, helpful and fun to have a chat with and the food is very good with great variety. The owner is a top chap and has done a great job with building this isolated resort with the local community. Make sure to have a beer or two with him when he's around.There's mangroves just around the corner and if you feel to paddle a bit further out you can reach cathedral cave (about 4kms) on one of the free kayaks they offer. Great place if you are looking for some calm and quiet from the usual crowded places and enjoy an amazing view and drinks in the pool! Highly recommended.

The Funny Lion - El Nido ligger i El Nido, 400 m fra El Nido Strand og mindre end 1 km fra Caalan Strand. Der er bar og privat strandområde. Very good hotel, good location and close to town. The staff in the hotel is superb. Val, CJay and all the team did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. They organized our tours and our ride to Puerto Princesa, and suggested very good restaurant for dinner. The breakfast is varied, there is always something for every taste.

Last Frontier Beach Resort-Adults Only is a beachfront property set in El Nido, located within 8 km from Big Lagoon and 9 km from Small Lagoon. First the Staff, all of the staff were so kind and lovelly to us! The room was great, the a la carte breakfast was delicious! The hotel restaurante had really nice food too!! They helped us prganizong the boat tours and the boat picked us up right in front of the hotel, was like getting out of the room and inside the boat! Can’t get better than this in terms of practice!!!
