The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Honestly everything! Maybe one of the best hotel stays ever. The sun deck balcony is amazing place to relax and chill, the hotel staff is great, the views stunning. Can’t wait to come back!

Renovated in 2018, the 4-star Hotel Alto Lido is located in Funchal’s prime area – Lido, 2.5 km from the city centre. Everything was amazing, be it service, staff, facilities, room service .... and for the price it was definitely more than worth - Definitely revisiting Plus the location is all you could ask for, super close to Funchal, Lido and Forum Madeira (everything is basically at walking distance)

As part of the Vila Porto Mare resort, this hotel offers 4 restaurants, 6 bars and 5 swimming pools. Porto Mare features an extensive tropical garden on the Atlantic oceanfront. staff was wonderful and island was beautiful! very accessible to everything and most tours pick up right at hotel.

Located in Funchal, within 600 metres of Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 2.9 km of Formosa Beach, Vila Vicência provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. Beautiful location and facilities, the indoor pool and jacuzzi were great for a rainy day. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room itself was huge with a private balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!

Les Suites at The Cliff Bay features a heated outdoor swimming pool and a garden in Funchal. Lovely hotel, excellent staff and great food. High quality of service in all areas of the hotel - reception, spa area, room cleaning, restaurant and pool. Special attention to every guest of the hotel.

Set on a cliff in 10 acres of subtropical gardens overlooking the Atlantic, this 5-star resort features an oceanfront spa, 3 swimming pools and direct access to oceanic waters. I just wanted to say how simply amazing I think this hotel is. Simply the top of the line.As I sit here writing this I tear up. EVERYONE from the front desk, to the bell hop to the people who brought me my breakfast, the gentlemen in the restaurant and especially Elia Silva, who loved her job so much she sang while she was making my bed. And last but but far not least, I was so homesick I want to go back home so badly and the manager let me cancel my third night. I’m still amazed, simply amazed at this sublime hotel. and jeez wiz I didn’t even mention how beautiful and well appointed the Palace was. I just hope you know that there are people out there who so appreciates what you do for people. This is from the bottom of my heart

Set within extensive gardens of various subtropical trees and a banana plantation, Quinta da Casa Branca features a boutique hotel and an elegant manor house and offers a heated pool and rooms with... A delightful garden with many types of flowers, two pools where you could enjoy the sun or read a book. We received a fancy room with a nice big bathroom. Very good and diverse breakfast.

I spent 5 wonderful days in the hotel with 2 kids. We all liked a lot breakfasts , where we found different meal on our taste! Our appartment was really big with 2 rooms, super clean and nice with evetything needed inside! First few days it was windy, so we used to go to the inside swimming pool with jacuzzi and saunas. My kids loved this time-spending and it was very relaxed for me as well: after all day walking to swim in warm water and to get rest. The area with outside swimming pool looks much better and bigger than on the photos and it has a wonderdull views for the ocean and nature around! Very beautiful beach wit rocks is in 5 minutes walking from the hotel!
